What an awesome Easter weekend with the Life of Christ Drama.   We had seven people saved during the drama.  Our Easter Sunday morning service was great.  When service was dismissed, people were not leaving; they were still praying and worshipping God.  We sang more songs and preached a little more.

Our services we are having, reminds me of Joel 2:28-29:  28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:  29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.  Most of the time on Easter Sunday, people are ready to leave early  so they can have their meals and Easter egg hunts with their family.   But, this time our people didn’t want to leave.

Joel 2:30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.    Easter Sunday was a wonder for me when God’s Spirit and peace we felt in our service was so awesome that no one wanted to leave.  It was like a blanket of joy and peace.  I appreciate all of you that stayed Sunday morning and worshipped the Lord.  God bless you and keep praising the Lord.

Jesus died on the cross for our sins but He arose because He is alive and lives in our hearts.   He is pouring out His Spirit and showing wonders.  We have been blessed to see so many miracles lately.  God can do anything.

I’m thinking about having a simple dinner and time of fellowship after church service; then a time of prayer together afterwards.  It’s time we pull together as God’s creation in love and unity.   Let the power and glory of God be in our lives.

I want to thank all the people working together to make our drama a success.  Those who contributed with money and time to build the stage, make costumes, and everything else.  Thanks to the cast and crew for making our Life of Christ Drama a success. I know the devil likes to throw a little tidbit of problems in the mix but we will overcome it because we are God’s children and are the salt of the earth.  Souls were saved and that is what it is all about and everyone involved is a part of that.

Thanks to all that do things for the church to keep us operating every Sunday.  We appreciate you so much.  We have so many willing workers.

I’m so excited to be your pastor and looking forward to our services this month.  I am so glad to see our young people being a part of the service and praising God.  Let’s remember to love and pray for one another.  Have a great month of May.

God Bless

Pastor Ray
